Or join us for lunch on Sept 8, 2010 at 11:30 am at the Tennessee Conference office to talk with Abraham.  He will share the same information at each gathering.

Bahamas Methodist Habitat is a disaster relief and emergency home repair outreach ministry of the Bahamas Conference of the Methodist Church through which volunteers work together to repair and build homes for low-income families in the Bahamas.  Our goal is to improve the living conditions and lifestyle for families in need in the Bahamas, while offering transforming experiences for volunteers and homeowners alike by sharing and receiving the Love of Christ.  The hope is that volunteers will return home with an expanded view of the world and an inspiration for creating ways to be involved in their own community.  Home owners will come through the experience with safe living conditions and renewed motivation.

Thanks to all of those who have come and served with BMH this year!!! You can still sign your team up for Fall/Winter 2010 or go ahead reserve your week for the 2011.

To register complete the GROUP REGISTRATION FORM and submit that with payment of $35/person to Hands and Feet 2010, 304 South Perimeter Park Drive, Suite 1, Nashville, TN 37211.

If all of your attendees have attended a previous Young People’s Ministry Event during 2010, then you only need submit the Group Registration Form.  If attendees have not attended a previous event this year, then you must have each of them (including adults) submit the HEALTH/REGISTRATION FORM.

You will be staying at the host church.  Separate sleeping areas will be designated for Male and Female Youth as well as Male and Female Adults.  You may need to bring your own air mattress and bedding if you prefer.

Once registered, your group leader will receive a confirmation packet with the schedule for the weekend.  Registration on-site will begin at 8:30 am at the host site.  A brief orientation meeting will take place and you will be at your project site from 10 am to 4 pm.  You will have the opportunity to freshen up prior to dinner at the host church.  After dinner we will have a Mission Celebration lead in worship by “UnNamed Servant”.  Sunday morning we will worship with the local congregation and dismissed around 11 am.

The application is due no later than June 1, 2010. The scholarship recipients will be recognized during the 2010 Tennessee Annual Conference on June 13-15, 2010 at Brentwood United Methodist Church.
